The unit is connected to the interactive detector loop, and is used for monitoring of fault or other signal contacts from external equipment.
A typical application is monitoring of the power fault contact in the power supply to a fire pump. Activation of the monitored contact will result in fault warning in the fire alarm control panel, and a custom specified text will appear in the display.
Application includes monitoring of:

- Smoke dampers
- Water level switches
- Fan coils etc.
